Breathing Exercises

Prana Sanchalan Kriya is Unique and Powerful.

A keynote element of Mahaprana Yoga is a unique series of body-heating breathing exercises called Prana Sanchalan Kriya, which translates literally to: “exercise techniques for cultivating life-force.”

Though ancient in origin, these multi-tiered exercises represent a creative and technological breakthrough in the field of modern Yoga, enabling the practitioner to progress faster and more directly along the yogic path than common methods can provide.

This powerful combination of breathing exercises, mental concentration and dynamic body movements generate heat and prana in the body’s core. Marrying breath and motion, this energy is then dispersed throughout even the most distal, subtle channels of the body. This action enables us to vitalize the whole of our body, while dissolving blockages and assisting the purification of the nadis (energy channels in the body). Through Prana Sanchalan Kriya the breath, the mind, and the body merge into one process – a meditation in motion, and that is a very powerful Yoga.
